Sparkling Wines and Champagne
Vinaceous “Burlesque” NV
The Burlesque Blanc de Blancs is pale straw in colour with a bright green hue and fine mousse. It exhibits clean aromas of fresh and preserved citrus. A surprisingly textural wine, it has a fine persistent bead and a creamy mouthfeel. Citrus flavours dominate the palate with a refreshingly dry finish. This wine is a perfect aperitif style, or can be enjoyed glass after glass…!

Pol Roger Champagne NV
On the nose, this champagne is dominated by white flowers, green apple, brioche and a trace of minerality. On the palate there are notes of stone fruits, a certain nuttiness and a hint of honey supporting the freshness of the acidity. A wonderful celebration wine and a fantastic aperitif.
A bright and fresh fruit bouquet of citrus blossom, subtle pear and white nectarine combines with savoury characters of roasted nuts and delicate spices. The entry is soft with generous primary fruit characters followed by a creamy mid-palate offering nougat and nectarines extending to a lingering and crisp brut finish.

Bright, fresh and aromatic with nashi pear lifted floral aromatics, the palate is quite rich and textural, yet remains minerally and with clean acidity and a long finish. The Sirenya is ideally suited to fresh seafood and seafood pasta dishes.

This vibrant award winning Chardonnay has notes of dried pear, honeysuckle, lemon /lime citrus oils, peach, minerals, nuts and caramel on the nose, is full of mouthwatering flavours of lemon curd tart and lime zest and finishes with a silky mouthfeel.

Moscato “Mad Fish”
Sweet and Fruity, this lower alcohol rosé is the perfect sip for a summer’s day. On the nose, this wine displays intense grapey and orange blossom aromas, intermingle with a hint of Turkish delight. Jim Barry ‘Assyrtiko’
This wine is a vibrant pale straw colour in the glass.
Opens with lifted oral aromatics, follwed by notes of pear and lime.
Great concentration of avour to open, with stone like minerality running the length of the palate.
A refreshing line of acidity gives the wine a lively feel, nishing with a ne chalky texture.

This classic Clare Valley Riesling is intensely flavoured and aromatic, with lifted varietal character. The nose has floral notes and tones of grapefruit, lime and lemon. The palate is seamless with slight viscosity and a brisk acid finish. Perfect with seafood!

Jim Barry, ‘Annabelles’ Rosé
In the glass this wine shows a bright garnet red with a violet hue.
The nose opens with lifted notes of blackcurrant and blackberry aromatics and subtle savoury notes of garden herbs, turned earth and spice.
The palate displays generous red and blackcurrant fruit gently shaped by soft, silky tannins. Hints of liquorice, tobacco and savoury oak add further character to a wine packed with bright fruit Favours. Clare Valley, South Australia
Cabernet Merlot, “Mr Mick”
The smooth plum and blackberry flavours are framed by supple tannins, the Merlot fruit adding mid-palate texture and softening the Cabernet’s more strident tendencies. Fine tannins and a lengthy savoury finish complete the picture. Will complement all red meat and cheeses.

Pinot Noir “Scott Base”
The Scott Base Pinot Noir exhibits classic Central Otago aromatics of ripe cherries, raspberries and wild thyme. The palate is full of primary fruits and finishes with smooth tannins and oak sweetness.

Merlot “80 Block”
The 80 Block Merlot is one of our absolute favourites! This wine has a warm plum and blackberry-laced nose with nuances of earth, underbrush and cloves. Medium to full-bodied with a good amount of ripe blackberry and subtle spice flavours, it has a chewy/grippy frame and satisfying finish. It pairs so well with steak or game and is also our top pick to drink with a cheese plate. If you’d like a bottle, call ahead and ask us to open one 45 minutes before you arrive, it loves a bit of air. You will not be disappointed. Barossa Valley, SA
Shiraz, First Drop “Mothers Milk”
Not a sledgehammer style of shiraz, this Barossa Shiraz is made for drinking! Soft, slurpy and textured it is balanced with good acidity, which refreshes the palate and makes you go back for another. A complex nose of dark cherry and blackberry aromas with a hint of forest floor and spice.
